Ayurveda is the traditional herbal medicine of India. It translates as the science or knowledge of life. "Ayu" means life, "r" means of, and "veda" science or knowledge.
According to Ayurveda life is not only to be lived by the body, but also by the mind, senses and soul. Ayurveda aims to bring balance to the whole being.
Ayurveda considers beauty as an intimate part of the human personality. Ayurveda massage therapy is based on elimination of ama (toxins), complete re-establishing the balance of doshas and restoring cellular nutrition. Aim of Ayurveda massage is to serve the purpose of natural beauty through faster and deeper cleansing accomplished by using Ayurveda herbs and oils.
All Ayurveda treatments are based on constitution. Before administering any of the Ayurveda beauty treatment it is very important to diagnose skin constitution through the individual dosha’s specific attributes.
